Minecraft servers will always be given a SRV record for the subdomain, but support might not be available for earlier game versions. We recommend using the subdomain to connect the game, which allows you to transfer the server and use a new IP address without updating the address with your players.
You can also choose a custom subdomain that's more memorable from your panel, this is available to all customers free of charge.
