1. ❤️ We care about your data.

Before we begin, the team at ServerFlex care about privacy. We believe privacy is a fundemental right - we take the principal of looking after your data as if it were our own. To that end, we collect the bare minimum we need in order to operate a succesful business and we share it with as few people as possible.

2. Introduction.

The purpose of this document is to help you understand how ServerFlex uses your personal information, how we protect that information, and how you can request copies or request deletion of your data.

In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to ServerFlex, as specified in Section 7 of this document.

This policy applies where we are acting as a data controller with respect to the personal data of our website visitors and service users, in other words, when we determine the purposes and means of the processing of the personal data.

In this document we will discuss two types of personal data - service data (data we hold about you to provide your services), and usage data (information held for analytics purposes).

3. How we use your personal data.

For the purposes of analytics, we may process data about your use of our website and services (usage data). The data may include your IP address, geographic location, browser type and version, operation system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths, as well as information about the timing, frequency and pattern of your service use. The source of the usage data is Google Analytics, HubSpot and HotJar. The usage data may be processed for the purpose of analysing the use of the website and services.

For the purpose of providing you with an account, we process your service data - this data includes, but is not limited to your name and email address. The source of your account data is you - this data is provided when signing up to ServerFlex.

4. Sharing your personal data.

Your personal data may be disclosed to any member of our team, or other ServerFlex users, with a relevant need to know. Your personal information will not be shared with any other company.

Financial transactions relating to our services are provided by payment providers (Stripe, PayPal and BitPay) - due to the nature of their services, it may be necessary to disclose limited personal data to these companies. Rest assured that ServerFlex will do everything in our power to limit this.

In addition to all disclosures outlined above, ServerFlex will only disclose your personal data where such disclosure is required for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject. We may also disclose your personal data where such disclosure is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, whether in court proceedings or in an administrative out of court procedure.

5. Transfer of your personal data

Your service data is held solely in the United Kingdom and European Union and as such is protected by relevant laws. This will not be transferred outside of these regions without prior notice, to which you will have the right to withdraw consent from our agreement by closing your account.

You acknowledge that personal data you submit through our website or services may be available, via the Internal, around the world. We cannot prevent the use (or misuse) of such personal data by others where circumstances are out of our control. ServerFlex uses the latest security practises to ensure your data is not publicly visible whilst moving around the Internet.

6. Data retention and deletion

The personal data we process shall not be kept for longer than is necessary.

Service data, regarding payments and contact information will be held indefinitely to protect the company legally.

Service data, other than specified about, will be held until your account is closed, and up to thirty days after.

Analytics data shall be held for a period no longer than six months.
